HOW I CAN HELP YOU

My aim is to help you improve your well-being. I’ll assist you in exploring whatever is troubling you and support you in finding new ways of managing.

I know from personal experience that taking that first step to go to counselling can be daunting. I also know how liberating it can be to talk to someone who is not part of your family or a friend.

I offer you a place of safety and compassion, free from judgement, where you can share your concerns, consider them from different perspectives, make positive changes and grow as a person.

I aspire to provide a therapeutic relationship instilled with warmth, energy and humour

I don’t believe you’re broken and I’m not here to fix you. You’re probably just stuck and need the time and space to reflect on your problems.

I welcome individuals of different ages, cultures, gender and sexual orientation.

I'm a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

WHERE I WORK

I work online and in person from a private practice in Battersea Rise in Wandsworth, South West London. Clapham Junction station
is just a short stroll away, and there are numerous buses that pass the practice.

ABOUT ME

I’ve worked with clients from all walks of life, and stages of life, from students and young professionals to stay-at-home parents and senior executives. I’ve also had a corporate career, worked as a language teacher, held volunteering roles and raised a family: all of which have helped me understand my clients and their challenges.

I‘m British but have lived in six countries across four continents. I grew up speaking English at home and French outside the home. I’m therefore interested in cultural issues and the difficulties of living outside one’s home country - and the challenges faced when returning home. (Read my article on this.) I speak French, Spanish and English.
