ABOUT ME
I‘m British but have lived in six countries across four continents. I grew up speaking English at home and French outside the home. I’m therefore interested in cultural issues, and the difficulties of living outside one’s home country - and the challenges faced when returning home. I speak French and Spanish.
I hold a Masters degree in Counselling from Monash University, Australia. I also have trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Freedom Technique, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Online and Telephone Counselling, Solutions-Focused Therapy. I’m a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I’m committed to offering a service that is welcoming to all backgrounds in a supportive and non-discriminatory manner and abide by the BACP Ethical Framework and the GDPR.
As part of my training, I worked with individuals and couples experiencing relationship, family and professional issues; couples undergoing fertility treatment; and students and teenagers with unplanned pregnancies.
I also have an MA in Spanish and French from the University of Edinburgh.

I’ve worked with clients from all walks of life, and stages of life, from students and young professionals to stay-at-home parents and senior executives. I’ve also had a corporate career, worked as a language teacher, held volunteering roles and raised a family: all of which have helped me to understand my clients and their challenges.
